Oak Hill Hospital "Stars"

William B. Terhune, Mailroom Clerk
Bill began working as a VOLUNTEER when the hospital first opened. He later became a part-time associate in July of 1987 and eventually went on full-time. Bill has worked in a variety of departments from being a transporter to working in materiel management. Bill currently works in Oak Hill Hospital’s Fiscal department where he is a mail clerk handling all incoming and outgoing mail and assisting with all hospital copy machines “and anything else that’s needed.” Bill is the patriarch of a very large family. First there is Dr. William F. Terhune, his son, and Mrs. Jane Vione, his daughter. He has four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.. He says that he truly enjoys working with a great group of qualified and efficient people.. “We are all family.”

Jonathon Meyers, Anesthesia Tech in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
Jonathon joined Oak Hill Hospital in July of 2005, where he worked as a transporter in our surgery department. He eventually progressed to the cardiovascular operating room as an anesthesia technologist where he assists the anesthesiologists before and during heart surgeries. Jonathon’s family consists of his mother, Cindy Quiroga, and his father, David Meyers. Jonathon lives in Hudson. The thing Jonathon likes best about working at Oak Hill Hospital is the people and the many career opportunities.

Robin DeShazer, Registered Respiratory Therapist (R.R.T.)
Robin joined Oak Hill Hospital in 1991 as a respiratory therapist in our cardiopulmonary department where she has been working ever since. She and her husband Douglas and their son, Aaron, live in Spring Hill. Robin says she truly enjoys working with all of her coworkers.

In making the announcement Oak Hill Hospital’s Chief Operating Officer Sonia Gonzalez said, “Dr. Thomas Frist, Senior, our founder, always believed that ‘Good people beget good people.’ People like Bill, Jonathon and Robin prove that Oak Hill Hospital will continue the legacy.”
